Wow, SMAP you are so awesome they are/were my favorite band in the 90's. I even flew to Japan to follow them on tour. They have always held MJ in high regard and never once believed in all the gossip/talk that surrounded MJ. In the video, Takuya does the moonwalk, Goro does the BAD knife fight, Nakai does the Smooth Criminal lean, Shingo tackles Thriller and Tsuyoshi.. erm, I totally forgot what Tsuyoshi did. There is a huge "Heal the World" bit at the end. LOLZ.

Jerzy Skolimowski’s best known films are likely those he was a writer on and of these none is better known than Roman Polanski’s Knife in the Water, a great thriller that was like Dead Calm but 27 years earlier and not actually rubbish. Amongst his work as director are two films from the 70s that I found quite lastingly disturbing since my youth, the supernatural horror film The Shout and obsession thriller Deep End. More recently, you likely saw him acting in Eastern Promises, where he played Stepan, or Mars Attacks or Before Night Falls where he had smaller roles.

I’m glad to report that Jerzy Skolimowski is back on location in director mode and shooting his next film right now. The Essence of Killing “follows the story of a Taliban member who lives in Afghanistan, kills three American soldiers and then is taken captive by the Americans. He is transferred to Europe for interrogation but manages to escape from his captors and becomes an escaped convict on a continent he does not know”.

And who has Skolimowski cast as this Taliban member? Why, none other than Vincent Vito Gallo, perhaps the most head-scratch/shake inducing character in modern cinema. Just like a great one-liner, every little move Gallo makes is structured as a intriguing set-up followed by confounding pay off. When Gallo signs on to appear in a film, my ears prick up.

Reporting on the film’s production in their native Israel, Haaretz tell us that Gallo is appearing in the film alongside “two Israeli actors, Zach Cohen and Yiftach Ofir… and a third Israeli actor is currently being sought… After shooting in the Dead Sea area, the rest of the movie will be filmed in Norway and Poland”.

Further details on the film are pretty thin on the ground. Indeed, Quiet Earth have only a cut-and-paste portion of the Haaretz story and nothing else, and there’s barely another word about the picture out there. It will be interesting to see what kind of reception a film about a Taliban murderer of American soldiers receives, doubly interesting to see how Gallo reacts to any controversy.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is known for her perma-tan, heavy makeup and '60s style bouffant on MTV's "Jersey Shore," but she recently stripped down her look.
Snooki, 22, took off her face paint for the new issue of In Touch, which shows a softer side of the Jersey Girl.

But Snooki's new look isn't one she plans on keeping.
"I will not walk out of the house without makeup," she told the mag.

The reality star revealed she even packs her tools of the trade while on the move.
"I always bring that everywhere I go," she said of her bronzer and eyeliner. "I love the smoky eye. If I wasn't doing this, I'd probably want to be a makeup artist."
And Snooki is an Avon girl.

"If I go to a club and I start dancing, it'll drip down my face, but Avon stays! Some brands don't stay on that long," she says of the product her mother sells. "She also gets me a lot of bronzer, eyeliner and lip gloss from mark."
As for her signature 'do, Snooki says fans can get her poofy look with hairspray.
"If people don't have hair like mine, I suggest teasing it a lot and then just put hair spray in and a clip. It should stay," she said. "I might do a video so the whole world knows how."

Whenever we visit my boyfriends family we bring our dog because they have two dogs and they all get along, and obvioulsy it's better then paying to keep him in a kennel. However, for whatever reason his mom hates our dog.

And I swear I catch her looking at me sometimes the same way she looks at our dog.

Robert Downey Jr. and Johnny Depp: How would you get 'em together on screen?

As we were leaving Sherlock Holmes yesterday, I asked my 62-year-old mother how awesome it would be to see Robert Downey Jr. star in a movie with Johnny Depp. Her response — “I would need a tranquilizer” — wasn’t exactly a surprise. She enjoyed Sherlock Holmes and Johnny Depp’s recent Sexiest Man Alive People cover equally. But it does show the kind of massive appeal a film costarring Downey and Depp would have. So, PopWatchers, let’s pitch us some plots…

I would love to see them play two eccentric actors who get caught up in some sort of real-life espionage. (Knowing that my mother shares my love for the 1987 Shelley Long-Better Midler classic Outrageous Fortune, I’m confident she’d second this.) Though it’s tempting to give them a bromance à la Holmes and Watson, they should initially hate each other à la Tango and Cash (another reference that I’m sure would appeal to the duo). Part of me wants it to be a period film, which would give Downey and Depp even more room to play; part of me wants it set today, but penned by Steve Martin with the heightened reality of Roxanne and LA Story.

So to recap: I’m pitching Outrageous Fortune meets Tango & Cash and Roxanne, possibly in period garb.

Yes it's just wishful thinking but it's a nice thought to end the year with. And it may just happen in 2010, who knows? Oh, depending on where you are, may Depp and Downey Jr. greet you HAPPY NEW YEAR!

First off, I love Disney…minus the low pay but +++ on free admission and 50% off merch during the holidays. I worked at Splash Mountain, the most AWESOME ride in MK! Hell to the yea! (MINUS being termed on my last day due to a text message…lame ass shit freedom of speech is out the door…I’m not getting into it it’s just so ridiculous…but I was fired! SO!! WE GET THIS POST) On to business: Disney is the #1 theme park in the world so OF COURSE celeb’s are gonna be there!
I wish I could have taken pictures but I was on the job so I have the stories for you.

A new video from 2005 surfaced that shows Kelly Clarkson firing her guitarist Dwayne during a rock version of "A moment like this". Apparently he gave someone in the audience the finger and kelly caught it and fired him on the spot.
